Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of St John's College, Anchal was established in 01/06/2005 and has taken the institution through two accreditation processes.
The basic purposes of the IQAC are:
i) to ensure continuous improvement in the entire operations of the Institution, and
ii) to assure stake holders connected with higher education - students, parents, teachers, staff, would be employers, funding agencies and society in general of the accountability of the institution for its own quality and probity.
iii) Organising training programmes and workshops on accreditation frame works in relation to quality enhancement.
iv) Making key interventions in core areas like research and teaching-learning by formulating policies and creating action plans for their implementation.
v) Conducts Audits for the right evaluation of departments and administration
vi) Providing support to faculty in career advancement and academic development.
vii) Identifying institutional infrastructural requirements and communicating such matters to the relevant councils and bodies.
The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of our college plays a crucial role in institutionalizing quality assurance strategies and processes in our college. IQAC aims at ensuring and enhancing the quality of education and overall performance of our institution. The IQAC conducts regular reviews of the teaching-learning process, structures, methodologies of operations, and learning outcomes at periodic intervals which helps in identifying areas of strengths and weaknesses within the institution and provides valuable insights for improvement.
